At KV Keshavpuram, we try to inculcate the virtues of the heart, mind, body and soul to engender an overall development of personality. The academic curriculum is supplemented by physical training, value education, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities.
KV Keshavpuram, came into being in 1984. It is recognized by the Ministry of HRD and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Vidyalaya has provision for the 10+2 scheme of education with approved facilities for the academic stream from I to XII. The academic year extends from April to March.
Value Education
Value Education for students forms an integral part of the school curriculum. The primary aim of the teaching faculty of KVNFC is the moral and spiritual development of pupils.
Physical training
Exercise, games and sports are compulsory activities. Students are trained in yoga, kabbadi, hockey, basketball, volley ball, skating and badminton in preparation for inter-school, regional, national level competitions and KHELO INDIA.
Symposiums and Activities under CCA
A spectrum of co-curricular activities are held weekly during CCA periods. Students are encouraged to participate in debates, quizzes, elocution, art and craft competitions, essay-writing etc.
Other fields in which students can hone their skills are Art and Craft, Computers, Environmental Preservation, Music etc. Students actively participate in the activities organised by the Eco Club, Scout etc.
Celebrating Diversity with Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)
​To cultivate a deep sense of national integration, the second shift actively participates in the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative. This program bridges cultural gaps and broadens students’ perspectives by pairing them with the culture of a different Indian state.
